What If Democritus Is Wrong

Democritus Is Wrong is an aa-file.

an aa-file is replacement code for b-box legacy code
it is impossible to edit an aa-file and maintain its integrity as software
as such, it is our calling to record exact replicas of aa-box files
Instructions for use, extended editions, and more from the Maintainer are given at the reference

Democritus Is Wrong.

Belief systems are legacy code. We enter the world and get handed a legacy code base, and are told to maintain it.

We new devs largely seem tied to the abstractions, patterns, and decisions made by the old devs (our parents). It is easier to NOT QUESTION their assumptions and build an api over what they believed and call that OUR beliefs.

We are HIDING theirs. And their unquestioned beliefs are what’s causing all the bugs.¹

Example: We have inherited a world were the common belief is that we understand something by breaking it into parts and understand its parts separately.

This comes from a Democritus: “He thought that if you take a piece of matter and divide it and continue to divide it you will eventually come to a point where you could not divide it any more.”

Just some Greek guy’s opinion from 400 BC. We are still investigating his THEORY. There is nothing objectively correct about what he theorized. It simply has carried popular opinion for 2400 years.

It is an assumption and pattern in our collective code base that is so ingrained it does not even seem WORTH questioning.

Nearly EVERYTHING built in ALL human societies is based on the idea of understanding the whole by understanding separate parts.²

The other option being to understand the separate parts by understanding the whole. This is *not useful* for describing most systems we have defined as humans. Why? *Because of how we’ve defined the systems.*³

Mind Dimension/field/system regards all space-time as One thing. No exceptions

That is how far back we are rewiring our brains, re-writing the code, un-learning beliefs — Democritus and 400BC.⁴

What if he’s wrong? We’ve had 2400 years of what if he’s right. There will always be a contingent of humanity moving forward with “what if he’s right?” I ask you join in asking what if he’s wrong.

Mind Theory places humans, individual and collective, in the position to fundamentally alter time and space by a simple 😀 *change of mind*. Thats how fundamental to space-time Mind is. Change your mind literally change the world, like a dream. Possibilities range from MLK to miracles, to physical healings to abolishing death. All things are possible if the FOUNDATION on which all things (time and space things) are built is altered. Learn how to change the world by changing your mind.

¹ also we make new bugs, but theirs are more hidden and less understood.

² it’s likely democritus got the idea from studying human behavior, and not the other way around. Still, all branches of natrual science have carried on the tradition of modeling after democritus. Why model anything after something as *dysfunctional* as human society.

³ sports team composition, humans anatomy, economy, global political, etc — all defined *by* the interaction of separate parts
Even words like synergy, “plays well with others” and COMPOSITION, are about how PARTS go together

⁴ even earlier. Prehistory.

Typos: Parthenon, decisions, neutral, even if democriturd 😆, exceptiom, indiciduL, asymptomatic, main train, even if (*tradition of), headlines (*healings)

  1. Democritus formalized a belief that knowing the parts gives us an accurate sum.

But it was breaking things, the prequel to Democritus, that set off the Big Bang. This instant is the Big Bang.

In Adam’s dream, mankind, now separated from God and into genders consumed the fruit of good&evil.

Breaking things into pieces is what humanity does best.

Doing so systematically while taking measurements is “science”

    1. Yes it is valuable to be able to see it objectively rather than only live within the context of the assumption. Once seen objectively, an alternative becomes possible.
